Crea Quilling

Estos fueron mis primeros cuadros que hice, hace mucho tiempo atrás. Conocí la filigrana el 2009 por internet, me enamoré y desde aquel entonces realizo algunos proyectos en Quilling. Siempre me han fascinado las flores y aunque no tengo mucho talento cultivándolas (siempre olvido regarlas 🤦), quise crear mi propio jardín en papel que no se marchitará jamás. Hacer filigrana en Chile es un poco complicado, porque acá no contamos con los materiales necesarios para realizarla. No podemos simplemente ir a la tienda de manualidades y obtener las tiras y la aguja. Así que debemos crear nuestros propios materiales, cortando cada tira de papel y luego enrollarla con un mondadientes que hace las veces de aguja rizadora. Si quieres conocer cómo lo hice, haz click  aquí  y  acá. Making quilling in Chile is a bit complicated, because in here we have not the materials to do it. We can´t go to the craft store and purchase the strips or a quilling needle. Then we must to create our own materials, cutting every single strip of paper and then rolling it up with a toothpick or a slotted needle created by myself. Por allá en el 2009, por una de las coincidencias de la vida, encontré en la web una cosa hermosa, que jamás había visto antes. Así que comencé a investigar, y es así cómo conocí esta maravillosa manualidad en papel llamada " Quilling" o Filigrana de papel en español. Durante aquellos años yo estaba aprendiendo otras manualidades, pero definitivamente me quedé con la filigrana de papel por su originalidad y belleza. Y desde aquel entonces me enamoré de esta técnica y busco cada día aprender más acerca de ésta. It was 2009 and by one of those coincidences of life  I found on the internet a very beautiful thing that I never seen before. I started researching and that is how I met this wonderful art on paper called Quilling. During those years I was learning other crafts, but I definitely chose the quilling for its originality and beauty.
